What you’re saying yes to

This is the whole thing. It’s short on purpose.

Who is going to call you

An average, but loving person. Somebody on our prayer team who wants to help you connect with God for yourself. They’re a volunteer, and they’re a friend coming alongside you for a few minutes.

They are not a therapist, or a counselor, or a doctor, and this is not therapy, counseling, or medical care. Nothing here takes the place of any of those, and if you’re already working with someone, please keep working with them.

If you’re in danger right now

Please call 988, or your local emergency number, before you do anything else. We’re a prayer team, and we can’t respond to an emergency. We want you safe first.

We pair you with someone of the same gender

That’s why the form asks. A man is prayed with by a man, and a woman by a woman. Nobody else on the team is even told your request exists.

What we do with what you tell us

We keep your name, your phone number, your email, your country, and whatever you wrote in the request. We use it to have one person reach out and pray with you, and to send you the email confirming we got it.

Your phone number goes to exactly one person: whoever picks your request up. It is not in the alert the team receives, and it is not on the board they can see.

We don’t sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers. We use Supabase to store it, Resend to send the emails, and Vercel to run the site, and those companies process it for us and nothing else.

Want it deleted? Email tyson@inherentidentity.com and we’ll take it out. You don’t have to give a reason.

Recording

We don’t record anything. If you want a recording of your own call, ask for a video call and then ask the person who reaches out. It only happens if you both say yes to it, and either of you can say no.

You can stop

At any point. If it’s a bad time when they reach you, say so. If you want to go a different direction than the one they’re going, say that too. You never have to explain why, and nothing gets held against you.

What we can’t promise

We can’t promise how fast somebody reaches you, or a particular outcome from the prayer. We’re people, doing our best to be with you. If nobody has reached you in 24 hours, email Tyson at the address above and he’ll make sure somebody does.
